I will be having sweet sweet dreams about this man for a long time after seeing Ocean's Thirteen last night. An excellent movie for reals! You definately need to rush out to the theatre this morning, plunk down your pesos, and demand a ticket...... oh and maybe some hot buttered popcorn too! Really the movie was great. The hype was all that and a bag of chips. There were a couple moments in the movie that were predictable. But I don't care. They could have shown 2 hours of George Clooney standing there with his Cheshire cat grin and I would have been just as happy. Now Edward might not have been entertained them but he could always take the option of going out to the car and waiting for me!

My fabulous finds at my local Dollar Tree! Now mind you, my hair is super short and I can't use any of these items except maybe the barrettes but I can rock the hell out of them on some papercraft projects!

Here are some Design Team projects I have made using the June 2007 kit from 2 Scrappy Chix Designs below:
Altered frame for the online crop. Added Urban Lily chipboard, Maple Lane Press frame, and MAMBI rhinestone "sweet" to the June 2007 kit to make this project.
This layout is really on a canvas. In addition to the patterned papers from the June 2007 kit, I also used pink tags, MAMBI glitter "K", butterfly and rhinestone/velvet flower from Prima, Urban Lily chipboard, and a clock face to complete this project.
Another crop project that was a sketch challenge with a twist. The sketch came from ScrapRoom Blueprints. I used silver Making Memories glitter alpha stickers instead of the black in the June 2007 kit. I also added a Basic Grey rub-on, Autumn Leaves journaling stamp with StazOn, and Sharpie for the journaling. In the bottom left corner, I also embroidered along on the the floral vines. The background cardstock is the sugar-coated cardstock from Doodlebug. It was not problem adding the rub-on to the textured paper.

The June kit at 2 Scrappy Chix Designs rocks the house! Includes 7 pattern papers from the Doodlebug black & white collection, 2 Doodlebug sugar coated cardstocks(one black and one white), 1 yard of American Crafts black & white ribbon, 5 Making Memories sweets flowers, 4 Making Memories glitter brads, 8 Making Memories button brads, 4 Heidi Swapp large flowers, 1 package of Making Memories shimmer alpha stickers, 1 large chipboard flower, and 1 large chipboard butterfly for a mere $15.99.
I love the black and white with just a hint of color added. And the sugar coated cardstock makes your teeth hurt it is sooooo sa-weet! Really I love the glittered look of the sugar cardstock. Adds just the perfect hint of blingage!
So not only do we have a rockin' kit this month, we have a rockin' celebrity Guest Designer. The one. The only. Amber Ulmer. Let me hear a big round of applause for Amber. She is a kick@$$ designer that has a young and fresh feel! Amber has also started a fun and funky challenge blog called One Little Word.
I hope you come by 2 Scrappy Chix Designs to check out the fun we have. Oh, we are also having a new Design Team call. Definately need to check that out!

So I sat down last night and uploaded a few items that I listed in my Etsy store. Boy, that was a chore. I only got about half the stuff listed that I made the past weekend to put in my store. But I am on a roll... my mind is racing with all the stuff I want to make to sell in my Etsy store. Click on my Etsy store on the left of my blog to check out all the goodies!

So E and I went to see my next husband Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End. I would have to give this movie a A-. It was wonderful. There were a couple parts where Captain Jack wrestles with his conscience and hallucinates that weren't needed in my opinion. But overall the special effects were fantastic. I love all the characters. Highly recommended to all. However, I must warn, it is in your best interest to have seen the first two to get some of the "inside" jokes and comments.
Open letter to the couple that brought their infant child (probably about 18 months) and their toddler (probably 4 years): Why do you find it necessary to bring your infant child to a long and loud movie in excess of two hours. Do you feel the need to torture your child or torture the rest of the audience that has to witness a cranky baby? Please do us all a favor and wait for the movie to come out on video so you can rent it and watch it at home or get a babysitter! Thank you!

More projects made from the May 2007 kit at 2 Scrappy Chix Designs featuring Hambly and Autumn Leaves.
A fun layout featuring two more of my 13 dogs. I used a sketch that was submitted for our online crop. I like the monotone look of this layout. I used foam for the bracket... cut out the bracket using a chipboard one as a template.
I love this card using Hambly patterned paper by cutting out a frame and attaching it to a cardstock mat and a card made from Bazzill Bling. Added two Hambly rub-ons and Making Memories letter stickers. Holla! if you love owls!
This is my absolute favorite layout. Course these pictures of Nikki make it! I used a sketch from 2SCD online May crop. Hambly patterned paper and transparency. Flowers from Bazzill and American Crafts. Thickers by American Crafts. Miscellaneous brads.
A passport picture of Edward and his mother. I totally scraplifted this fantastic layout. I don't care, the layout I scraplifted was too great to pass up!

I always talk about my job (well complain probably is more like it). My sister and I work for our parents' wine distribution company. I finally got our blog for the job up-and-running. Doesn't really say much except news revolving around the wines and winemakers of the products we carry in our portfolio. But if you are into wine, it is a nice place to research some new boutique wines. It is still in the beginning stages of a blog and I don't have all the links posted yet... but VISIT HERE if you are interested.

Here are a couple of my 2SCD DT projects that I made with the May 2007 kit which features Hambly products...
I altered a cut-out felt placemat from Hobby Lobby on this project. I added binder clips, flowers, ribbon, and pearl head stick pins to products from the May 2007 kit.

Trippin' is what I do when I have a 50+ pound dog under my feet when I am trying to scrap. And of course I can't get mad at her when she looks at me. She is much too cute to get mad at. Sugar Sweet!

I have made quite a bit of progress on my {s}crap room. As you can see my work table is almost all clear. The floor is basically clear. This room needs just a little more cleaning to be complete.... well almost. After I organize the 20 or so boxes and bags in the hall closet that came out of this... then the reorganization of the {s}crap room will be complete. I had to get those boxes and bags out of this just to be able to move around in an attempt to organize. You cannot imagine how much better I feel at this stage. The completion of this room is reachable. I can almost feel it!

I finally feel like I accomplished something tonight. First off, I cleaned off my work space in my scrap room. This is a MAJOR accomplishment. I have a few more things to organize in my room before I post a picture. After I cleared my work table, I actually sat down to work on the circle journals that I have had in my possession forever. I am in a circle journal with some great ladies from Creative Escape 2006. I finished circle journals from Sherron, Elizabeth, and Kim. They will happily go into the mail this week to the next participants. All I have left to do is two more circle journal layouts and I will be done with the exception of receiving my own circle journal back. You cannot understand how elated I am that this circle journal is almost complete.

I have been tagged by Aimeslee to reveal 7 random facts/habits about myself:
1. I cannot drink milk on the date (or after) of expiration no matter how good the milk still is.
2. I love love love cream cheese and can't get enough of it!
3. I fart a lot! Not a cute fact but a fact nonetheless. (Probably because I am a little lactose intolerant and love milk and cream cheese. Cute!)
4. I cannot save money for the life of me. Heaven forbid an emergency were to happen. I would have to sell some plasma or "something: to get some money together.
5. I am addicted to blogs and e-mail. I check my e-mail about a gabillion times a day.
6. I love athletic shoes and have a hard time buying/wearing anything other than Nike. I do have a couple of non-Nike shoes but it is hard to force myself to wear them.
7. I want a tattoo but won't get one. No reason. Just won't get one.
For anyone that is reading my randon facts, consider yourself tagged and get to exposing your nastiest facts!

Here are the other two layouts I did with the April 2007 kit at 2 Scrappy Chix Designs.
The title of this layout is "Everybody was Kung Fu fighting; Those dogs were fast as lightning". Okay I used a little poetic license to make this song title fit my layout. The song lyrics are reall those "cats" but come on folks.... these are dogs here. As you know I think this picture is hilarious. See my post from April 6, 2007.
What can I say, I am really into using song lyrics this month. The title of this layout is "Livin' with Sugar dog is the only way to stay sane." Again I took a poetic license and used Sugar instead of Sublime's Louie dog. If you can't tell, I love me some Sugar dog. She is a nut dog fo sho. But she is also very photogenic.... well she sits still long enough for me to take some good photos of her knucklehead self!

The May 2007 kit from 2 Scrappy Chix Designs has been revealed. You can go to 2 Scrappy Chix Designs to purchase. You may not know this but I am a big fan of owls right now. I love that Hambly and Sassafrass Lass have kickLass owls in their lines! I don't have my hands on this kit yet.... but I am foaming at the mouth to get it. Seriously. Robots, skulls AND crossbones, owls, felt flower and Thickers. Can life get any better than this? Did you see the ribbon? I need to weave a dress out of that ribbon. Would that make it Haute Couture fashion or more like Hoot Couture!?!?!?!?! {Sorry I cracked myself up with that one!}
I hope you will scoot on over to 2SCD and pick up your kits today! And don't forget to look through the rest of the store. Julie, the owner of 2SCD, has some great stuff there!

Here are two really fun projects that I did with the April 2007 kit from http://www.2scrappychixdesigns.com.
{Sugar} - This was a highly experimental layered layout that I did trying to mimic a frame I saw with layered pieces of glass to which you adhered your photos in a collagey effect. The acrylic sheets that I used are clear but do not appear so when layered. In the future, I would use transparency sheets. I still like the look of this layout in person.
{My Girls} - I made this layout for a friend on a canvas. I added a few items to the monthly kit like felt flowers, buttons, and a girnormous paper clip. I love the end results!

If I wanted to, I think I could qualify to drive in the carpool lane. These are photos of what my daily commute consists of. Morning, noon, and night. I take my 5 minute, 2 mile drive to work with these co-workers. No they don't pitch in for gas. No they don't offer to drive. No they don't even bring me a donut every once in a while. Sugar, Convict, and Peanut expect to be driven back and forth from home to work every morning. Come on, do you really expect them to run to work!?!?!?!?!

I have a few dog photos that I have taken over the last couple of days that I thought I would show everyone. As you may or may not know, my family and I have 13 dogs at our ranch with another four more that are being fostered and will be brought to the ranch shortly. Anyways, 12 of the 13 dogs are "found" dogs. Dogs that we adopted. Ten of the 12 just showed up. Four of the 12 are really neighbor dogs that just found our house a better place to stay and with dog friends to hang out with. So this is Peanut and Sugar... looks vicious don't they. Believe me when I say this... they aren't. These two knuckleheads are just playing. Thought it was a pretty neat photo.
Here we have the Babraham Lincoln aka Baby. I took her and Sugar out this afternoon to take pictures in the wildflowers. Neither Baby nor Sugar really followed my directions very well. So I had to take what I could get as far as poses are concerned. Now Sugar is a very photogenic dog but she was too interested in the unfamiliar surroundings. She decided there were about a gabillion blades of grass and a gazillion wildflowers that she needed to inspect and smell. Baby did okay. She sniffed the ground quite a bit too but I got a couple of good photos out of her.

The above kit is from www.iamascrapaholic.com for the month of April 2007. It is a fantastic kit for a great price with a couple of add-on kits available at http://www.iamascrapaholic.com/currentkit_April.html. Lynn Eon, the owner of I Am A Scrapaholic, graciously invited me to be a subsitute Design Team member for the month of April. I subbed for my friend Aubrey Rivers, http://aubreyr.blogspot.com/, who is a great talent. I thank Aubrey for suggesting me as her sub. Anyways, here are some projects I made with this fantastic kit:
