So I think this is the signature I will go with. Just a simple initial. I can make it smaller if I want... since the default is kind of big. So this will be the set signature for a while...

I wanted to test out a new signature for each of my blog posts. I think this is too big. Just trying it on for size...

Here is my weekly blog challenge for 2 Scrappy Chix Designs...
List your Top Ten celebrities that you love to hate:
1. Britney Spears - please get a new job and a new weave. I am so done with Britney!
2. Heath Ledger - no reason just don't like him
3. Jennifer Lopez - hate giving money to her empire but sometimes have to see a J.Lo movie!
4. Renee Zellwigger - seriously don't like Renee but will watch her movies
5. Denise Richards - she calls herself an actor and then tarnishes hottie Richie Sambora!?!?!?!
6. Ashlee Simpson - something doesn't sit right with me
7. Kate Moss - gain some weight, lose the boyfriend, and get clean already
8. Joey (or Joseph) Lawrence - quit shaving your head!
9. Evan Rachel Wood - seriously Marilyn Manson is your boyfriend?
10. Lindsay Lohan - just sad
A little commentary on who I don't like (not that I know them personally) but will seriously read all the online gossip about these celebs. Now who do you love to hate!

I know you probably can't tell from this picture but I love this dog. Okay I love to torture her too! Now if I can only get her to pose better in her witches hat! At least her weave looks better than Britney Spears' weave! As you can see, Sugar doesn't always love me especially when I make her wear clothes. She only has one other fashion accessory and that was a wife-beater that said "Bad Hair Day"! Needless to say, Sugar and her boyfriend (Texas Ranger) proceeded to tear the shit out of that shirt and get it filthy dirty! It has since been discarded in the trash! Happy {early} Halloween!

Chappell Hill, Texas, puts on two major festivals a year. The Bluebonnet Festival held each April. (I have been the last two years and it is wonderful. Plenty of hand-made goodies, carnival food, music, and just plain fun.) The Scarecrow Festival is held each October. I have been wanting to attend the Scarecrow Festival but have never went. This year is the year. I hear the entire community decorates for this festival. Scarecrows putting on their finest duds and hanging out for the fun. I seriously cannot wait. I hope to take some awesome pictures and of course will post... Is is Autumn yet?!?!?!?!?!

As you may or may not know, I post a blog challenge every Thursday on behalf of 2 Scrappy Chix Designs. Normally I kind of obsess over posting something of value... and then struggling to figure out what kind of challenge I want to organize. I have finally decided that the theme of each Thursday's challenge will be Thursday Ten. I will ask you to post your top ten of whatever topic I decide. Now this isn't an original idea... I actually saw this on a blog today and I thought it was perfect for us. So now on to the challenge...
Your challenge today is to post your top ten favorite movies. I think the types of movies you like says loads about your personality, humor, and basically what type of person you are. Now my top ten favorite movies are kind of eclectic but they show all my sides... funny, romantic, heartfelt, okay you get it. My top ten favorite movies (and no particular order):
1. The Holiday
2. Love Actually
3. Pride and Prejudice (BBC version)
4. Domino
5. My Dog Skip
6. Talladega Nights
7. 40-Year Old Virgin
8. Four Brothers
9. To Kill A Mockingbird
10. 7 Brides for 7 Brothers
I am sure there are more movies that I love but these are the majority. I change from time to time but these stand tall in my book.

This is a layout I did with the September 2007 kit from 2 Scrappy Chix Designs. The kit includes chipboard, ribbon, embellishments, and patterned paper from Creative Imaginations Marah Johnson's Rock Star line. It also includes a sheet of patterned paper from DCWV Rock Star line and cardstock. It is a fantastic kit. (Sorry that my scanner cut off the last 1/2 inch of the layout).
Journaling reads:
These are my people
This is where I come from
We're givin' this life everything
We got and then some
It ain't always pretty
But it's real
It's the way we were made
Wouldn't have it any other way
These are my people
Not only did I work up this layout for 2SCD but I did it for challenge #3 at Scrapping The Music challenge blog.

I got to thinking about what my weekly blog challenge was going to be for 2 Scrappy Chix Designs. I always have a lot to say, unfortunately for the most part, but haven't really been saying anything of value on my blog. Not that this has much value but I wanted to talk about the new color scheme of my master bedroom. I just ordered this bedding set from Overstock.com:
I think it is gorgeous. I am going to accent it with Robin's Egg Blue. I love the look of this blue with chocolate brown. This color combination may be played out but I don't care, I love it. I have been wanting a new bedding set for awhile but finally took the plunge. Who could resist Overstock.com's prices. I bought a set of chocolate brown Swiss Dot sheets too. Keep in mind, my headboard/footboard are an ivory colored wicker. So I think it will look fabulous. We are in the beginning stages of getting to work on our fixer-upper. We have lived here almost two years and have done virtually nothing to fix up the house. We really need to buckle down and do something. Except for the kitchen, the rest of the house just needs cosmetic work. A few drywall repairs and paint. I would like to replace both bathroom's vanities. The kitchen needs to be gutted and started from scratch. So for now, I am going to start with new bedding and an easy room like painting the dining room. So what is the color scheme in one of your rooms?

In one of the blogs that I read, the author made a mini-album of her life list. My Life List is a list of the big (and not so big) things you want to accomplish in your lifetime. Here is My Life List:
* Lose a serious amount of weight, seriously.
* Live a healthier lifestyle.
* Be a mom.
* Travel internationally.
* Be financially sound.
* Keep a clean and organized house.
What is your life list? Post your link at 2 Scrappy Chix Designs.

My friend Mary, flutteringby on 2 Scrappy Chix Designs, has another wonderful adventure that she has introduced us to... a new challenge blog. The name of the blog is Scrapping the Music. Think how much music plays a part of your life. How much music moves you. How music can change your mood. Well this new challenge blog introduces a new song each week. Your challenge is to take a part of that song and design a project around it. Does that mean use the title? The lyrics? The feeling? You tell us! How does the weekly song move you? Tell your story in your project.
